Body Account

Body Account program is for those people who care about their bodies weight and shape. It allows you to monitor how many calories (and of what nature) you’ve received with the meal and how many calories you’ve wasted performing various activities. Your body measurement parameters (weight, breast, waist, hips) are monitored as well. The program shows you your daily balance as well as you general progress during the long period.
This program will help you in pursuing your body related goal – weight loosing, weight increasing or putting your body into the certain shape.
Basing on the scientific knowledge Body Account program will help you make a monitoring of your calories supply and consume, your body weight and your body shape. Using the creative approach you will study your body potentials and rich the high-minded goal of health and elegance.
Features:
- The program visualize the calories supply-consume process showing it in the convenient chart
- Each person individual body specific is taken into account
- Possibility to model the strategy in achieving of certain goals and estimate possible results
- Research and estimation of extra factors, which affect the body weight
- Simplifications and approximations are scientifically based
- Support the idea of "common sense therapy". Developing of habits of right meal and activities policy for the future
- The program simplifies the user input allowing him select the meals from his favorite menu

BioSeqAnalyzer

BioSeqAnalyzer is a bioinformatics software tool for analyzing DNA and protein sequences.
Its Windows interface makes sequence analysis extremely easy.

BioSeqAnalyzer, registered version, supports the following
operations:

Alignment Scoring.
Linear global alignment.
Affine global alignment.
Local alignment.
Multiple alignment.
Hidden Markov Models Profile creation.
Aligning to Hidden Markov Models Profiles.
Composition-based classification.
Profile-based classification.

All functions can be performed on both DNA and protein sequences.

BioSeqAnalyzer brings to sequence analysis the following GUI features:

Enter sequences either from the keyboard or from FASTA files.
Select a FASTA file from a list of previously-used files.
Select a sequence from within a multi-sequence FASTA file using a simple listbox.
Select substitution score matrix with a single click.
View alignments in either wide, or wrap-around format.
View or hide Dynamic Programming matrices.
Create and save HMM profiles.
Align sequences to a previous-saved HMM profiles.
Much more.

BioMolecula WallPaper 1.0

BioMolecula WallPaper

This program creates custom Desktop Wallpapers for your PC every time Windows starting. Real 3D models of biological molecules in random position are shown on wallpaper image. You may choose one molecule from six available, rotation axis and image scale ratio.
Six molecules are available in the current version: four prototypes of DNA (Deoxyribonucleis Acid – storage of genetics information) and two proteins – Hemoglobine I Monomeric (Oxygen transport protein) and Cytochrome C 550 (this protein has wide range of functions). In further versions we plan to add some new molecule models.
Note: only 2 models available in unregistered version – DNA in B-conformation and Hemoglobine, other models available only in registered version. Models of protein molecules are represented only by the main polypepthide chain (-OCCN-); none sidechains of aminoacid residues are presented because they make the molecule look like a heap of atoms. Also Hydrogen atoms are not presented because of their small size in comparision to other atoms.

BioMolecula 3D ScreenSaver

This screensaver shows real 3D models of biological molecules in dynamics. Your screen will look like screens of computers in science fiction films! You may choose one molecule from six available, rotation axis and speed.

Bio2MIDI 2.1

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Bio2MIDI

Bio2Midi converts the text of a DNA or protein sequence to a MIDI file, which you may immediately audition, or import into any MIDI sequencer for further compositional processing. Choose to listen to the sequences as 4-note DNA bases, or as 20-note protein amino acids, or both at once. You can select specific data sections to be translated, called exons and introns, and mark areas of interest to be played in a different instrument.

In order to provide a fast, easy sketchpad for converting and listening to the sequences Bio2MIDI translations are kept simple, giving only direct pitch translation of the DNA and protein sequences. For more detailed composing, any files you edit with Bio2MIDI can be read by our BioEditor and sequenced by our more powerful composing programs, ArtWonk and MusicWonk.
